PHP acceleration

A number of php accelerators used to exist - there is the Zend one, which costs, there is PHP Accelerator (last updated Jan 2003), Alternative cache (last updated Jun 2004), Afterburner (last updated Feb 2002) and the Turck MMcache (last updated Nov 2003).

So it was looking bleak for anyone who wants an up to date and free caching/accelerating solution - but recently the Turck code has been updated and re-launched here.
