Walking

Much has happened since Pinja's last internet outing to Rovaniemi.

Pinja started to crawl on her knees (rather than commando style on her tummy) soon after that trip. Then walking was the next skill to he conquered. Learning to walk takes time and practice. The coffee table is handy to hold on to, it's the right height.

Learning to stand up means she can reach the piano by herself.

Here Pinja points out Daddy's nose for anyone who hadn't noticed it.

All three of us.

Zebra riding is another important skill for a one year old.

The rest of the pictures are from our visit to the UK. Here Pinja is taking a few tentative steps in Grandpa's garden.

Success - she can really walk!

Time for a rest after walking practice, now someone can push.

Or better still, bathing is even more relaxing.

Visiting Great Grandmother.

Having a chat with Grandpa.

Eventually, at the end of the trip, Pinja decided that it's nice to sit on Grandma's knee.
