Baby X in "You're Only Born Once"

Baby X has been busy since the last report.

As it turns out, the baby intelligence service has reported that Baby Y has put together an evil alliance comprising a large black cat, a teddy bear, and Postman Pat in order to make an attempt on the milk supply line.

Usually the supplies arrive concealed inside mothers, and terrorist babies are denied any kind of access.

However, the reports show that Baby Y had obtained a cunning device code named Rintapumppu that will be used to intercept supplies.

On hearing this news, Baby X swung into action. First, she headed for the creche, where it is rumoured that Baby Y was in hiding.

On arriving, she met stiff resistance from the the cat, but it was soon overcome her expert marshal arts skills. In the picture you can see the fabled 'X Karate Chop' in action.

However, once inside the creche, fate took an interesting turn, as she came face to face with her Mother.

"Ah, Baby X", said Mum, "I've been expecting you".

Baby X had nowhere to turn. She quickly succumbed to Mummy's superior strength and skills with the bottle.

Confined to her cot, Baby X now needed to think fast.

Previously she had considered Mummy to be an ally, but events seemed to dictate otherwise.

Although clearly part of the milk supply organisation, perhaps Mummy was a double agent for Y?

Could she have passed on the formula? If the milk supply fell into the wrong hands the world would no longer be safe.

The time for sleeping was over. It was time to act.

First she needed to attract attention. Days of special training in the art of 'Waaah' meant X had no difficulty, and the guards turned up right away.

But what's this? The guards have their own milk supply!

Could it be that Baby Y had already obtained the formula, or perhaps the Rintapumppu had already been in action?

Well, there was no time to lose. The milk must be retaken, and fast.

There's only one safe place for a bottle of milk, and that's right in your stomach.

Baby X knew she must show what it means to be a modern mystery baby, and take the milk like she had been doing it all her life.

Once the milk was safe, Baby Y could be found and eliminated.

But for now, it's one more hard day's work over for the mystery baby.

She rests, and dreams of her next adventure. Perhaps she will defeat the Magic Dragon? Or maybe she will save fairy Tinkerbell from the gruesome Daddy-In-The-Morning-Monster? And who could forget that Baby Y is still at large?

One thing is certain - the life of a mystery baby can never be ordinary.

Next: Baby X gets a name
